My electronic paintball marker chops or breaks paint when firing.

  • The main issue maybe the Quality of the paint you are using, remember you get what you pay for. If you pay $30.00 for a case of paint and you only get 1,000 good shots, that paint actually cost you $60.00 and allot of grief.
  • Check the ball detents.
  • Is your loader fast enough for your marker (BPS)?
  • If your marker has eyes check to see if they are on or dirty or damaged.
  • If you have a TIPPMANN Cyclone feed you may have a damaged ratchet.

Why do my goggles fog up?

First there are 2 3 types of lenses, a.) single lens, b.)anti fog coat lens, c.) Thermal Lens. The single lens provides no layer to prevent fogging, anti-fog coat works for some players, c.0 Thermal lens is the most effective at preventing fogging. The thermal lens is like a thermal pane window in that it has two lens stuck together trapping air in between. Everyone sweats different, some players have no issues while others will need to install a fan to clear up the for.

Some Tips: If you wear a hat, wear a hat that is ventilated, otherwise you are trapping body heat as the top of the head is the Vent for heat from your body. If you are bundled up real tight with clothing take some off. Some players have used anti-(roll on) across their forehead and had food results (be careful and do not get it in your eyes)

The field or shop will not fill my tank, why?

Tanks both CO2 and High Pressure Air (HPA) need to be recertified to make sure they are safe to use. CO2 tanks need recent every 5 years. HPA tanks are every 3 - 5 years.

My marker seems to have very low velocity, why?

  • Check your tank to make sure you have enough CO2 or HPA.
  • Your regulator have a damaged seat.
  • Reset your operating pressure to manufactures settings.
  • A Flat line or Apex barrel that put a back spin on the ball can affect velocity.
  • Check your battery or dwell.

Why is it Field Paint Only?

Our field requires this because we need to make sure that the paintballs have not been tampered with and that they meet ASTM and our insurance company standards. Also the revenue from the sale of the paintballs is how we pay for insurance, good referee's, improvements to the field and general costs that come from running a business. In addition not all paintballs are created equal, some might stain, some are so hard that they have been recently banned because they really hurt. Our goal is that when you play you have fun and are safe.
